Everyone deserves a second chance at a productive and empathetic life. We at BHW have been committed to helping those incarcerated in our community with exactly that, The “Own it and Up” eight week program helps local inmates acquire the tools to deal with their anger, mitigate their anxiety, discover self -worth, and develop healthy relationships and coping skills. We are thrilled that we have received a grant from the Donald C. McGraw Foundation to continue this much needed work and that Sheriff Thomas Bowler continues to invest in these men so they can enter the community with hope and skills to succeed.
